Zohran Mamdanı Cease-and-Desist

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani walks with supporters to 30 Rockefeller Plaza for the first mayoral debate in New York City, US, October 16, 2025The New York Knicks have threatened to take legal action against Zohran Mamdani after the politician used a modified version of the Knicks logo in campaign advertisements on Wednesday, according to several American news outlets. 

Representatives of the basketball team issued a cease-and-desist letter to Mamdani, a democratic socialist currently running for New York City mayor, on Friday.

The New York Post reported that Knicks representatives suspected that the ad was likely intended to mislead the public into believing that the Campaign is affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by, or in some way connected with the Knicks.

New AI tool reveals your body’s true age

Researchers at   Edith Cowan University   (ECU) have recently developed a new way to measure biological age and find out how old you really are, and it might not be what you’d expect.  Whilst we generally measure age as chronological, i.e., how many years since you were born, the researchers have created an AI tool called AlphaSnake, which tracks your body’s age and can be used to help spot people at risk of age-related diseases earlier. The study has been peer-reviewed and achieves 85% accuracy in predicting a person’s age. It found that the difference between a person's predicted and actual age (known as delta age) was associated with age-related health markers, such as cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
